Let us be the silver lining to your rainy days…

The end of winter is nearing, but there is still a way to go until we reach the (sun)light at the end of the tunnel. Here is our handy guide of how to survive the remainder of the chilly season with The Guildford Hotel.

Get toasty

Whether you’re in prime position in front of one of our many fires, or cuddling up with a blanket and a mulled wine in the beer garden – we’ll keep those fingers and toes warm!

Meet the Pit Master

Did you know all of our meat is smoked on site? Every day our specialised smoker Matt, slowly smokes the meat allowing the full flavour to develop. We always serve our meats at an optimal 75 degrees to ensure it’s perfect tender and juicy.

Cheeseburger 3-ways

There’s only enough room for one cheeseburger dealer in this town (sorry Macca’s). Whether you choose our Gilly cheeseburger, dirty double or even in snack size with our signature cheeseburger springs rolls we can take care of those lunch time hunger pangs – sorry Ronald this heritage town is not big enough for the two of us!

Sweet tooth

Warm up with our boozy inspired treats. Try the apple tart with spiked wine and double cream, or for all the chocolate lovers out there, our chocolate fondant with whiskey cherries and vanilla bean ice cream will hit the spot.

Catch your team on the big screen

Looking for a local hang to catch the game? With 7 screens around the venue we’re the perfect venue to watch the AFL with a pint!

Enjoy a local wine

Scanning through our wine list and you’ll see we love to feature WA products. This winter why not curl up with our Venue Manager’s favourite Olive Farm Cabernet Sauvignon. This vibrant ruby red gives you a flavoursome experience of chocolate, charred oak, mulberry and plum spice – perfect for a cosy Friday night in at The Gilly!

Let them eat steak!

After a long day at work, who wants to do the cooking when you get home? I didn’t think so. On Thursday’s we serve up everybody’s favourite Black Angus rump with potato gratin or chips. Plus it’s only $20 from 5pm – dinner sorted!

Father’s Day – Sunday 3rd September

Join us for a quintessential Dad’s dish; our Amelia Park lamb shank, served with miso buttered mash and slaw will definitely be a gift to remember – shanks Dad! Psst… we’re taking bookings on this day too – give us a call to secure your spot 08 6336 9766.
